Sound Evaluation

So sound is finally finished. Let's see how well I did...

I managed to create a backing track that was about 4 minutes long and displayed the perfect sounds of a journey, unfortunately I had to cut this down to 2 minutes which kind of makes me sad. I feel like the overall piece worked out pretty well though, you definitely manage to feel like you're going up to this huge sculpture and discovering it. I say this but I would have rather stuck with my first 4 minute piece as I feel it built up the suspense a lot more than the final sound piece.
The only issue I really had was that when I was trying to edit the photograph and sound together on Premiere Pro, my laptop had a bit of a hissy fit and decided to make me panic for about an hour whilst it tried to do this.
Also two of the sounds I found on the internet and used; they are of the person saying 'Hello' and the metal clanging sounds. This is only because when I thought to use them I didn't have anything to record them on, although I feel they fit in well.

These are my sounds:

Within Audition I used reverb and I managed to edit out certain sounds within my recordings, this is because most of them had sounds of cars driving past due to the sensitivity.
