Studio Shoot - Initial Ideas

For the studio shoot section of Professional Toolkit we were split into two groups; this was done by splitting the register in two, and getting two teams of 12 and 13.
I was put into Group B, which consists of the following people:

Charlie Whitworth
Chloe Wilson
Diallo Williams
Hannah Park
Josh Sampson
Katherine Milroy
Laura Thomas
Leanna Saul
Nick Lennon
Sahir Rahman
Tori Ludolf

Our very first idea, after debating whether to create a campaign or an advert for DFSA, was to create what looked like a one shot film of DFSA students at work. So you would follow one student around the studio, and each area would show a different aspect of DFSA. For example photography, film, editing, after effects. We were then told the advert could only be up to a minute long, and this seemed to ambitious for a minute, so we split up into two smaller groups within the group and discussed more ideas.
Finally, after Anne really liking the sound of a straight jacket, we came up with our initial idea of someone breaking out a jail into a creative world showcasing DFSA work. Of course this bought up several issues of perhaps the creative world being too cheesy or childish meaning it would look good, and also that not many of us had experienced using green screen before meaning that concept of having the entire creative world green screened was chucked out the window.
Although we do all agree on the jail scene, with its low key lighting and as minimal colour as possible, we still need to discuss job roles and what the creative world will be like.
