Behind the Scenes - Reflections Project

So this was my first time being the cinematographer for a student films and I hope it didn't go too badly, although I did forget to Format the card in the beginning but we made do with deleting footage from the group before. We also had a bit of trouble with the fact that we never actually learnt where anything was on the camera, this meant it took us all about 20 minutes to get everything set and ready for filming.
It took a bit to understand what exactly Aidan wanted me to film, but because the whole thing is repeated four different times it didn't take long to get into the correct patterns. We also had some fun with the mud; we assumed it wouldn't be too bad because the weather has been incredibly nice recently but we were wrong. It meant carefully having to descend into a ditch area and keeping the camera (plus other equipment) safe the entire way down.
Everything else went pretty smoothly, some of the actors took a couple of times to understand exactly what they were doing but we got there in the end. Two days, some extreme working temperatures, and 50GB of footage later and we were done. The following are just a few photos I managed to snap in our break:
