I want to be able to create a mixture of planned sounds that I will record myself playing, and sounds from nature itself, to create an adventure with just the music. Taking my main inspiration from the track 'Afghan Trek' by Theodore Shapiro, it really does take you through the mountains and creates that atmosphere that could bring a tear to your eyes.
Inspiration for my Sound Piece
After becoming slightly obsessed with the film The Secret Life of Walter Mitty I finally managed to get hold of the OST, and it is beautiful. Seeing as most of the film is set in the landscapes of Iceland and Greenland the music definitely captures this beautifully.
