Final Film - Evaluation

So within the film making and editing process we have hit a few issues, although some of these we got past others were definitely a problem. Unfortunately our main problem was that we don't truly have a storyline running throughout the film, and it doesn't really make sense when watched by the viewer. This was made clear to us by all three teachers; and this is when we decided to just change the final edit with the footage we had and make something in chronological order but add in some experimental twists to make it interesting. In my mind I feel it kind of took an appropriation approach towards editing and I feel this worked out better than having four screens of the same thing happening at once.
The filming process was fun and interesting, I was finally allowed on the camera and I feel that it went well seeing as we didn't use a tripod at all. Some of the shots are a bit shaky because of this however, but I feel that really adds to the effect we wanted.
I feel our main downfall has been communication, seeing as we all live separately and some of us were hard to get hold of at times it means we've lacked being a group. If I could do this project again I'd make sure that we were meeting as often as possible, and working together more rather than messaging each other but working on our own.
