We decided as a group that we were going to go out on the Monday we had off and do the following things:
- Film the trailer
- Take photographs for the website
- Test some quests
It ended up being me, Nick and Kat on the day out as we left Leanna to work on the posters so we can advertise the event. Myself and Nick also decided that it might be a good idea to document the day in a vlog style, so we spent the day filming little bits of footage which we edited together in our own videos.
This was the outcome of my footage:
On the day I was in charge of getting the photographs for the website, this is so that we didn't have to use copyrighted photographs on there. We spent 30 minutes before heading out to do all of these things discussing exactly what we needed to get from the day, and the photos we needed were:
- LIDL
- Waitrose
- Farnham Herald
- Pubs
- Castle
- Penguins
- Photobomb
- Dancing
- Harp Man
- Lion and Lamb (just in case)
We got the majority of the photos done, but some of them we were unable to do on the day and will get done as soon as possible and changed on the website.
Here are the photos we got from the day:
We also managed to test a couple of quests on the day, the main one we were worried about was the LIDL quest as we weren't sure you could buy 3 different items for 75p or less. Thankfully LIDL lives up to the name and everything was super cheap, in fact it was so easy to get 3 items for under 75p I might have to put the price down a little.
I begin to get an idea of your quests. But perhaps the tasks need to be a bit more challenging. Are you absolutely sure this will engage people? Sorry to say but it seems that the film of your day is a wander around and not much happens. Perhaps you should have used the synch sound, make shorter and find some witty anecdotes that I am sure must be there somewhere. Lidls is better. This has potential to roll out at least at course level next year so hope you can work it out.
