Maps and Journeys - Website/Urban Quest research

Urban Quest - https://www.urbanquest.com

This was one of the first Urban Quest events that we found, it allows people to purchase Quests around the city they live in and these can be for themselves or as presents. Each of the purchased quests involves a series of tasks and clues that take the participant around the city, and it all leads them to a dinner at the end if they complete all the tasks within. It also has an option for corporate events, meaning that business can get involved with the tasks around their city. Unfortunately this Urban Quest is only available in Canada, America, Australia and France.
Also available on their website are two other options; the first one is Quizzles where any viewing the website can try out little tasks online that are updated daily, so a little bit of fun for those who can't afford the Urban Quests themselves. The other option is called EpicQuest where anyone can take part in a series of 5 challenges, one challenge each week, and the fastest to complete all the challenges wins $5,000. They are also doing a Christmas themed set of challenges based around an advent calendar for anybody to do.

Urban Adventure Quest is also an Urban Quest company that charges people to take part in Quests around their chosen city, however these quests are more like city tours. This website in particular has a really good 'How it works' page which shows 5 key points to which the participant is to follow to complete the quest. It also shows a sample question, game demo, and explains how the scoring system works. This Urban Quest has options for corporate, school, or party quests meaning that you can get involved in groups and get discount. The majority of the cities that the quests take place in are within America, and is an american based site meaning even payment has to be taken in dollars. On the front page they have videos, testimonies, and photographs taken during the quests which I think is rather good because it explains the whole premise a little more without having to search for what it is.
