Focusing on predicting the Future

After much debate with myself I've managed to zone in on one area of time that I thought I could work with; the future. With all the theories and expectations it's the side of time that really interests me; also it means being able to use certain aspects of After Effects that I've always wanted to learn.

Idea No.1

Three screens showing footage that seems like it's feeding live through security cameras, all showing the same scenes and flicking through each one. However each screen will show a different version of what the future may be, which will be the following:

  • Left - Apocalypse like world
  • Middle - Average until explosion/mushroom cloud at the end knocks out camera
  • Right - Population/Technology so it will show loads of people with text messages appearing everywhere

Idea No.2

On each of the screens will be a time lapse that has been tilt shifted to make it seem like a model town, this will represent how the world is becoming more and more like a memory and becoming a world of skyscrapers instead.

Idea No. 3

Each screen will show different views in which colours/things will start disappearing to recreate what memory loss might be like. They will all be at different levels of how much disappears so that it can show how it might get worse over the years. Showing the future to some of us nowadays, or as people get older.
