We had a Workshop induction with Jim Casey to introduce us to; the workshop itself, the equipment, and to give us the health and safety rules of the equipment and environment. We had this induction so we could use all the equipment provided to build and create our sets, this was a key workshop to turn up to as if you didn't go you weren't allowed to use any of the equipment.
We were shown how to use a variety of tools such as; the sanders, pillar drills, band saw and the jigsaw blade, and also hand drills and glue guns.
After the induction had been finished we were tasked to make a puzzle piece using all the tools we had been shown, although the key sander to sanding inside a curve was broken meaning it's not the best puzzle piece. Thankfully I've done all this twice before so it was easy to do, and it bought back good memories from college and secondary school.
