The idea behind the project was to create moving image within photography, and this was mainly portrayed through the use of cinemagraphs. Each one is meant to have subtle movement that relates to the original photograph. The meaning behind the work was to show how memories can be trapped within photography, as for me photography is the main way of remembering events that have happened in my life. However because they are such subtle movements this meaning may not always get across, but I’m hoping that the aspect of moving image within a still image will portray how there is always movement and a story behind a photograph.
Unfortunately the photos do not link up in anyway, but that is the same with memories as you only get small parts at a time, although each of the photos can relate to the majority of people as they are mainly recognisable objects or situations.
